Ami Efrat
Amir Efrat has worked as a music producer and keyboardist for the last ten years, covers all mediums of film, T.V, live performance/bands and live theatres, for broadcast within the U.S. and abroad. Amir has attended the New School University, New York and Berklee College of Music, Boston, where he obtained his Bachelor of Music.
Some of his film and T.V credits include: composing for: Starting Over (N.B.C), The Hilton Show (N.B.C), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell), Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson), The Trident (David Carradine, Aalok Metha), And remaking of the classic Marvin Gay song “Sexual Healing” on Duplex (Ben Stiller, Drew Barrymor, Danny DeVito).
Some of his album credits as a producer include: Zera Vaughan-Back To The Roots; Miria-Under The Surface; Kyle Puccia-Bipolar (Part One); Noa Dori-Letting Go; and Jessica Fichot-Le Chemin.
Aside from all of his production projects, Amir has recently been on tour with Air Supply, and has been touring internationally with Sony Records Recording Artist, Ishtar (Alabina), as keyboardist and programmer. He has played with Dawn Robinson (En Vogue), and played on the show “Hit Me Baby One More Time” (NBC) as the House Band Keyboard Player, which included performances with Howard Jones, Cece Panisten, Sophie B. Hawkins, Haddaway, Irene Cara and more.
In his work, Amir defines his own unique sound, reflecting the rich experience that he has producing, composing, and performing with a variety of artists and genres. Those genres include World music (Middle Eastern, African, Indian), Electronic music, Funk, Jazz, Fusion, R&B, Rock, blues, Folk Music and more.
